Should you use an Australian Migration Agent?

Australia is often described as being a multi-cultural and plural society, with its residents and citizens coming from more than one hundred and ninety different countries. The Immigration policy of this country has, over the years, undergone many changes. As a result, the Migration Act and its' accompanying regulations are complex, and very often confusing to the reader.

The Australian Immigration system offers many differing categories of visa, which can be issued to persons wishing to enter the country. No-one (Australians excepted) is allowed to enter Australia without the relevant valid visa. These can range from short-stay tourist visas, to permanent residency visas.

For the granting of a visa (applications for which can be made off-shore, or from within Australia, under special conditions); the applicant(s) will need to satisfy certain strict criteria, with full supporting evidence, as laid down in the Migration Act. Communication difficulties may result in Migration and other visa applications being unsuccessful. Similarly, Migration Appeals require expert guidance. This maximises the opportunities for applicants to have their needs met and for their case to be argued strongly. We would recommend that prospective migrants to Australia use a registered Migration Agent.
